McDonald’s Flagship Billboard
Our assignment was to create limited, 1-of-1 billboards that would be placed in Downtown Chicago, across the street from their flagship restaurant and global headquarters on Ohio Street.
We were tasked with creating concepts that would resonate with Chicagoans and further cement the brand’s deep connection with the city.

Dibs
Winter in Chicago is dibs SZN. It’s simple, you shovel out your parking spot and place a household item (usually a chair) to save your space. This practice is highly debated, but generally accepted amongst Chicagoans.
We leveraged this quirky Chicago tradition to show what a winter McDonald’s run in Chicago might look like. Fries and parking spaces are not meant to be stolen.
Looked cool on Instagram too.
McD’s x The Bear Champ
If you’ve spent enough time in Chicago, chances are you’ve seen JC Rivera’s artwork. His Bear Champ murals can be found all over the city. They’re on the sides of buildings, on ‘L’ platforms, in restaurants, you name it. We partnered with the artist to create an original Bear Champ piece for the brand.
Summertime CHI
We commissioned French illustrator, Emmanuel Romeuf and his signature style, to help create a board to celebrate the best season in the city.
McD x Jas Petersen
We collaborated with Chicago based painter and visual Jas Petersen,
bringing her iconic ‘Fastgirl’ to Ohio Street.
